This discussion task is designed to help you analyze some research studies on the topic on which you will be writing WA #3.
To complete this task, Use the three attached articles below. Many scholarly articles are actually reports of the findings of a research study. For this reason, it should not be difficult to find three such articles. For example, if your topic is teleworking (which is a very general topic), you could easily find three studies on teleworking. If your topic is white-collar crime, you could find three studies on the very general topic of white-collar crime.
After you find your three articles, please read over the three articles and complete the following for each one:

This is a group work, and each team must work together to find a possible problem or opportunity in any related field. The main goal of this assessment work is to practice and implement Information System project management roles, responsibilities, and practices.
1. Create groups of two to three students each. (Solo work is acceptable in exceptional circumstances with the module leader’s consent.)
2. Conduct a research to identify a challenge or opportunity that your team would like to tackle.
3. Since you must apply for project management roles, the group must complete the following tasks:
a. Preliminary analysis: Identify and confirm the problem.
b. Integration management: Develop a project management plan
c. Scope management: Define and manage the scope by creating a work breakdown structure (WBS) and requirements gathering.
d. Time management: Plan, define, and develop schedules, activities, and estimate resources and activity durations.
4. Prepare a report that combines the generated documents and standards.
5. Prepare PowerPoint presentation slides to present your project.
a. Each presentation must be 15 minutes in length only.
b. All group members must participate in the presentation; preferably everyone should present his/her task in the project.
6. Peer Evaluation
a. Peer evaluation serves as a supplementary document to support the group work on PRES1 assignment. The purpose of this report is to evaluate the participation and engagement of the other team members while doing this group work.
b. For this task, you will be using the PRES1 Group Presentation: Peer Evaluation which will be provided by the module leader and be made available in Moodle.
c. This evaluation form must be filled out and submitted by each member of the team (individually).
d. The Evaluation form should be submitted as a separate file and uploaded in Turnitin to a specific link made especially for this form.

Overview: This week’s chapters focus on enterprise applications and aspects related to the integration of applications. It describes the basics and models of integration including presentation, functional, data, business process, and business-to-business integration.
Most of the enterprises have a host of existing enterprise applications and infrastructure technologies including integration technologies themselves. We looked at a spectrum of technologies that have been employed toward obtaining integration between enterprise applications. These include database access technologies, asynchronous and synchronous middleware, message-oriented middleware, request/reply messaging middleware, transaction processing monitors, object request brokers, application servers, Web Services, enterprise service buses, and enterprise systems. The inability of enforcing a uniform enterprise system/architecture/data model within the enterprise gave a fillip to the service-oriented architecture
Finally, this week’s readings describe the platforms for the realization of the Enterprise Application Integration, namely, CORBA, DCOM, J2EE, and .NET. Then we sketch the reference architecture and detail the understanding of this reference architecture in J2EE.
